For the first time, Basel GAA were part of the FCB Polysport Camp taking place during the February holidays. It was a great experience! Volunteers from Basel GAA introduced Gaelic football to 40 kids between 6 and 13 years of age, from the Basel region who have never played Gaelic football before. These children can avail of the opportunity to come and join our training at St. Jakob-Park on Sunday morning.
The club wishes to thank our youth players Odhran, Javier, Donnchadh and Nieves as well as the coaches Martin, Shane and Niall who were there to run a very successful day at FCB Polysport Camp. It was very intense and rewarding to see kids getting to grips with basic GAA football skills.
